Yeah Saunders clearly has the 2nd best resume at MW (I'm only talking about MW wins here). Monroe as well in addition to who you have named. Lem is tailor made for someone like Saunders, but it is still a good win and better than what pretty much everyone else has done in the division aside from GGG.
The blueprint to beat these guys is to be better than them they are undefeated by fighting nobody`s, Lem was awful. Being a world champ doesn`t held the same respect that it used to when there was one world champ and no crappy politics blocking top fighters fighting each other.
He demonstrated a lot more lateral movement than Golovkin, yes. A lot more upper body and head movement, too. And other wrinkles, besides. Lateral movement, upper body and head movement and the jab is the Saunders MO. Bearing that in mind, in addition to the lack of similarity in their respective performances against Lemieux, I have to wonder how one would come to the conclusion that Billy was using a Golovkin blueprint.
Spot on, it's called boxing not fighting, hit and don't be hit. Floyd mayweather must be bang average.
There isn't a man born from their mother on the entire continent of North America who can beat BJS 2.0. It's arguable if there's one born on this planet who can. You aren`t comparing Saunders with Floyd?! Mayweather is rated by some as the greatest defensive fighter of all time! Saunders is no Willie Pep!
he was replying to my comment, and its quite clear my reply was in reference to the "running" statement. I dont think which one of BJS and Floyd is better is in question. It sounded more like he was talking about their styles more so than their ability
I've never seen his videos, but the 'BJS copied GGG's blueprint' thing is enough to dissuade me from ever watching one. That something was stated by a guy on YouTube doesn't make it true. There are a lot of amateur boxing analysts on YouTube. Heck, anyone with access to a laptop, mic and some software applications can give it a shot.
The truth will be told when BJS is taken out against a decent fighter. Even at 36 GGG will take him out.
