Sounds to me like BJS is hesitant and Frank ******, his promoter, is more up for it. It comes down to money- or course. Frank is saying it'd have to be in a UK stadium while according to GGG's team the offer was for a fight in America. They feel the UK would be a step back since America is where GGG is trying to build his brand.

GGG, the clear A-side, is going to have to become the complete B-side in order to get the belt.

I doubt BJS will take it. He said just 3 months ago that GGG would destroy him. Doubt his mentality has changed that much. Unless Loeffler MASSIVELY overpays him then it won't happen.

I concur. Saunders has apparently said he would be willing to fight Golovkin for £4 million; therefore, the only way this fight is made in 2016 is if Tom Loeffler calls Billy Joe Saunders' bluff, and offers him the £4 million to fight Gennady Golovkin.

Basically. If that did happen, then I'd suspect HBO would be stepping in to help with that purse.

yup sounds right buffy...what gets me is frank is inflating BJS worth..the guy just postponed 2 fight dates with Lee cos they coudnt sell any tickets then they end up having a fight that only 4k turned up and now his telling people to relax and chill and that they will sit down and talk when the time is right..duh? if its a duck then it will be the most overt duck ive ever seen...frank ****** comes across as an old goat and out of touch with reality...he maybe gonna loose a lot of money on this one..

Think k2 should give them a flat 3 million pounds offer with a 10 day deadline take it or leave it or were fighting Johnson

Frank knows it would take a good few fights for them to earn that money and he could always lose. And he doesnt sell well anyway

Since when would BJS sell out a stadium? Like it was said, him and Lee combined didn't bring that many people. I don't even think they surpassed 10,000. They don't need a stadium.

Just give GGG/Saunders a venue in either MSG or MGM. Give Saunders 3-4 million with a guarantee of future HBO dates. He should be all high praises after an offer like that. This offer alone would be ridiculous and way out-side his value.

Lemieux must sue Loeffler for scamming him if he actually offered BJS that kind of money.

Bjs just wants enough for his retirement which will start the instant the bell rings for round 1

Just out of interest, what has been Golovkin's biggest payday so far?

They can give him that much only if Golovkin gets way less. Saunders is not an opponent who can generate enough views on any side of the ocean to produce a 6-million pound purse.

I assume GGG would have to take B-side money in order to make the fight, even though he holds 4 more titles and has 5x saunder's star power.

GGG having to break his back to get these fighters in the ring is laughable. Champions should want to become the #1 in the division.

Add a rematch clause to BJS to sweeten the deal :D

 a best of 5 should seal the deal

GGG should well accept being the lop sided B side. Kovalev did it to land his desired fights

GGG BJS in the UK would far outsell BJS Lee. GGG is a far bigger star over here than Lee, and would be an even bigger one after destroying BJS

GGG's an international brand. He's already doing well building his brand in the States. Let him build his brand in the UK too. BJS brings that opportunity
