Their words seem like a lot of fluff but ultimately, I think BJS will get 2 defences against easy domestic guys (following an Eddie Hearn-esque Business Model), and use the year to get Golovkin vs BJS etched in people's minds and have the works set up for it.

I see it happening at the end of the year, or even early 2017.

I don't actually think Canelo will be fighting at 160lbs for a while. I expect them to try and follow the 'delay the superfight' move that MayPac did to force more demand. Canelo will wait until age is starting to beat Golovkin who is like 34 or something already.

OK This my take on all of this...they did go on about eubank more than anyone. We also know thar cotto and canelo are not interested..They want the eubank jnr fight with a rematch clause in it on ppv sky...Frank ****** even said complete control of everything(or something to that effect) So give us eubank ppv on sky(with eddies blessing)on our terms water tight including the rematch clause..Their trying hard to make sky and eddie capitulate to get them on PPV and using this as an way to break the stronghold on Matchroom....

Who at 168 is a challenge? Nobody. 160 is the best division to be in currently. You have Jacobs, BJS, Golovkin, Canelo all battling for supremacy for the MW crown. Then you have the possibility of some SWW fighters to move up. 168+ has literally 2 good fighters.

The fact that Frank (and BJS nodding in agreement) ranks GGG as #1 P4P tells you that this fight will be hard to make. But I agree that GGG must take a minimum purse in order to sweeten the deal for BJS. He will make great money on his bout with Canelo, so it makes up for it in the end.

Frank Wаrren knows that Saunders has no chance against GGG, so he's hoping Eubank goes to the US and beats Golovkin.

Frank and Billy knows that GGG wants so badly to unify all the titles , so they will ask as much as they can. It's all about business. Anyone with a brain would do the same.

The problem here though, is UK fight means no HBO money since HBO is not going to dish out the big dollars for a fight that isn't US prime time. GGG has shown he personally is fine with fighting over in Europe, but in this case where would the money come from?

Without HBO backing and a sweet deal from the Garden, its going to be tough to find the kind of purse money they are talking.

K2 being able to cough up a major offer in the first place was no doubt due to HBO being willing to make a significant investment towards the fall PPV but regardless for a few million bones theyre sure to demand a US TZ.

Lemiuex was unwittingly sacrificed by his promoter.

If he's gonna sue anyone, it would be Oscar.

But, Ive got a feeling a payday is coming his way anyways.:think

    I agree.....

He should try to squeeze every last cent from K2/HBO etc and go ahead and fight for the title of being the best MW in the world.

Bigger upsets have happened, and he's got to be happy with the way he was able to take both Lees and Eubanks power, and most ppl feel GGGs power is overrated anyway.

Take the $$$$, win or lose it's still the best payday of his career, and the L wouldnt destroy him anyways since there are literally a dozen other guys he could make solid change vs vying for the #2 spot in the division, Eubank rematch included.

Solid paydays will still be there with the L is my point, but the GGG payday might just go away completely since GGG doesnt need the WBO title to be Undisputed and his WBC title will be won in the ring or in the courts at the end of May anyways. :good
