He can be forgiven for having a straightforward first defence, aslong as his next fight is against a top5 guy

 

So either Golovkin, Jacobs, Lemieux, Quillin or a Lee rematch... Fat chance if you ask me.

Can't say I am too surprised. BJS is a decent fighter, but nowhere near the elite and they know it. He will be carefully managed from now on.

 

Not a dig at BJS in particular but at what point did a weak first defense become something we're all fine with?

The plan is BJS - Eubank 2 this summer...FW even said last week that he sent an offer to them via his George who seems like a kid who gets things done. Rubbish fight is Bursak but we knew it was coming

Eubank Jr had a world title shot offered to him and swerved it.

 

It's a big uk fight- not massive but big. The first fight as you know made a lot of noise and sold out that Docklands venue. Second fight at say West Ham will do at least 20k especially as matchroom did a good job on Jnrs profile
plus he will probably beat Blackwell in style on channel 5
We will see what happens I guess

 

I'd have a £50 bet with you that there's no chance of it doing 20k as a main event.
