"They're trying to make the fight happen now. It will happen. My pen is in my pocket, I'm waiting to see the contract, to sign to fight you, GGG. Let's hope that the mandatory you've got doesn't get in the way because I'm fighting on October 29, and I really don't mind fighting you a week after," Saunders said.

"Let's make sure that we don't use the mandatory challenger to get out of anything. You want the WBO belt, I've got it, and I'm willing to put it on the line."

Is Billy really willing to use his pen and sign that contract ???

I think he is willing to take the fight, it's his only chance of getting a decent pay day with Eubank being impossible to work with and Canelo and Cotto dropping down.

If you look at the WBO rankings there isn't much there for him (plus Jacobs being the regular champ with the WBA prevents Billy from fighting him unless he vacates)

Using his mandatory isn't getting out of it when that mandatory is a near evenly ranked MW as he is himself. You can only fight one person at a time. Somebody has to get the short end.

GGG should fight BJS in Oct, and Jacobs in Dec.

I think he does want the fight now. Only it isn't going to happen for him because Golovkin has a mandatory to take care of and even if that fight falls trough, it would take at least another month and a half before we know.
So BJS probably has to fight his own mando first

Golovkin would like to fight Saunders first, but if the mandatory is enforced, Golovkin will go ahead and knock Jacobs out...........first, Golovkin has been trying to fight Saunders for a long time now.....................

its probably going to come down to who takes a smaller cut of the pie. theyre both legitimate contenders so it will be a question of who makes ggg the most money.

First intelligent post so far. I'd add in whichever fight seems more likely to come to fruition as well. To fight BJS Golovkins team will have to ask the WBA to postpone the Jacobs fight on the basis of title unification. But on the off chance the WBA says no Golovkins team may be forced to take what might be their only chance to get Jacobs in the ring.

This guy is a joke. Playing the bafoon on social media. He is Daniel Geale with more movement and less volume and power.

    Cannon fodder for GGG.

BJS is a level above Daniel Geale. He is a better boxer - and by a fair space. BJS is a better mover, he is a smarter fighter. I would also argue that Saunders has more power than Geale - as evident in their fights against Jarrod Fletcher.

BSJ trying to use the mandatory as an excuse that GGG gave to avoid him. He knows that GGG needs to defend or get stripped, assuming Jacobs does decide to fight GGG.

I can already see the scenario; GGG vs Jacobs is made, BSJ will parade that he tried to make the fight but GGG ducked him. After Jacobs he won't be as vocal as he is right now.

But either way it has to be Jacobs or Saunders for GGG next. Jacobs has 30 days to accept or lose his mandatory status/belt.

Well the WBA ordered he fight Jacobs, so I think that's going to be hashed out first. So BJS might have to sit on the sidelines after his next defense, or take another fight in between. Either way, if that fight happens, it will be early next year sometime, so I'm not too worried about it.

Just get your ass in the ring and fight someone while GGG deals with his mandatory Billy.

I actually thought I read somewhere that the WBA would allow a unification fight before Jacobs. Sorry, no source, but I seriously thought I read that somewhere. I Just hope BJS doesn't just stall negotiations and then GGG is out in the cold again.

...his WHAT in his pocket? You'd think with all those big domestic paydays he could afford to sew up the holes in his trousers.
