Canelo will hit BJ in the 1st round and his face will change....I see canelo winning every second battering and than knocking out BJ in 9

Spot on. Lemieux has been very much overrated over the years - he is a one dimensional puncher and good boxers have shown that. He’s also not able to fight back against bigger stronger men which is where his knockout losses have stemmed from.

I like your post and think there’s a lot of truths in it, especially around BJS energy levels which I do think will be a factor here. However BJS as no chance of scoring a knockdown - none. Canelo has a solid chin and whilst Billy has adequate power it’s not enough to dent Canelo’s chin.

I think Billy will be shocked when Canelo first lands just how accurate and strong he is. He is unlike any other active boxer with his ability to mix styles depending on who he faces. I think Billy will set up with the goal of boxing behind a southpaw jab and moving, similar to the Lemieux fight. Canelo will however be happy to take a few to land one or two and that’s what he’ll do - he’ll throw at the same time BJS does. This will hurt and startle Saunders who I believe will then take to boxing negatively and lose rounds - if he engages he’ll get caught and beat up.

Thats hpw i see it panning out. Saunders will feel the gulf in class early then go into survival mode amd try to claim a robbery.

Canelo is so many levels above anything Saunders has faced before that he just isnt ready at all.

It’s almost as though Isufi, Coceres and Martin Murray aren’t going to be adequate preparation for someone who has an argument to be the P4P number 1 fighter on the planet.

Fighting Hammer and Chisora is no preparation for fighting Wlad.

Fighting Pianeta and Seferi is no preparation for Fighting Wilder.

Shitzu or whatever his name is had Billy Joe doing his Michael Flatley impression in front of 10 people at Stevenage football ground.

Canelo will break him down and stop him late, this will look pretty similar to Kell Brook vs Frankie Gavin in my opinion.

Frankie Gavin was a far smaller man than brook. Billy Joe is the bigger man this time. Size matters. Just saying.

I see Canelo winning easily, maybe even stopping him.

He has consistently improved, Saunders is inactive and stagnant. We don't really even know how good he is, it's all theoretical but it would be a pretty big surprise if he suddenly fulfilled all that early promise out of nowhere this late in his career against his toughest opponent.

You think Saunders will be bigger than Canelo?

Canelo is about 5'8" bjs is about 5'11". So bjs is definitely naturally the bigger, taller, longer limbed man. Of course Canelo is a sawn off howitzer of a man, aided by plenty of beef chemistry as we know and he was easily able to deal with Callum Smith so size alone wont save you in there. But Bill won't be a stationary target the way the Plank was. If Canelo misses a lot of fresh air shots he might gas out....its not out of the question.

Of course Billy Joe won't be favoured to win. That's for sure!

Think canelo will hit bjs first couple rounds bjs will try run and pot shot but will lose very wide points or middle to late stoppage
