    Just got a call from DirecTV. Offered me the BKB Stevens vs Rosado ppv card for 1 dollar. REPEATING: one measly dollar.

    I accepted.

    Just a heads up for those interested in purchasing this. You can probably call your local provider and cut a deal.

    Bruh, I been with DirecTV for 15 years (for the NFL package). And yes, they do occassionally call with offers.

    Also, please note that apparently DirecTV is a (or THE) backer for BKB.

    :think What if they are just looking to increase the fan/customer base by offering good deals to longtime subscribers?
    They dont have to sell too many PPVs to make a profit anyways.

    Possibly. I do order a ton of the boxing PPVs. But normally, the discounts are never that steep.

    Also, now that I see DirecTV is financing BKB, they get to keep 100% of the revenue (no 50/50 split with networks). Profit threshold is way lower. If they can get 10-12k customers buying at 30 bucks (the advertised price), they've already covered the purses (based on that tweet you posted).
