Any fight reports or some interesting information on this guy? I can't seem to find anything but the general descripiton of him (that he committed suicide and that he was a whirlwind type of fighter).

That second pic is what I posted on my Instagram and Facebook account back in May of 2020. I was working on my Midget Wolgast article and the picture of Bill and Chocolate was during the leadup to them sharing a card, where Bill fought Wolgast and Chocolate took on Ridgeway. Bill was actually the favorite against Wolgast because he upset two guys who were seen as having the best chances in Davies and Huat, the latter of which many mistakenly thought could be a French version of Wilde because of his big right hand.

Thank you for your information and that nice photo do you have a more detailed fight report of Wolgast's and Bill's bout?

I have quite a few reports from that bout and bits and pieces will be sprinkled in my article, whenever I get around to finishing it. I'm not in a place to access those reports currently, though. It's not Bill's most flattering moment, however, so I believe it's better to focus on the bouts before that to give a better account of who he was. For instance, Ed Hughes said Bill was "lightning fast" and "clever as sin" after his bout with Parra. He also stated that Bill fought at a torrid pace, didn't forget his skill in mix-ups, and could counter rushes with jabs and crosses. He was compared to Rosenbloom in late 1929, where they were both described as two outstanding fighters but "habitual open-glove offenders" because of their sometime porous technique. In my research, words like 'clever' and 'tricky' are probably the most common phrases used to describe him, along with his hand and foot speed and work rate. Definitely an underrated Cuban and flyweight, in general.
