Had it wider than Woodhall but Blackwell showed heart in there and will come again. European level is perhaps as far as he goes.

 

7-2/6-3 to Eubank for me.

Eubank landed the much more effective punches just thought at times Blackwell outhustled him.

Good fight, don't think Eubank beats Jacobs but he is definitely exciting to watch.

Why Jim watt is mentioning Robert Guerrero and Andre berto I don't know.

Kell needs bigger fights then that.

Apparently Blackwell is fine, felt slightly weak and dizzy at ringside and the Dr wasn't taking any risks.

Solid performance by Jr, I'm still not convinced but he did what he had to do.

I'm taking nothing away from Jr, there was an argument to stop it a couple times in my opinion but Blackwell fought the wrong fight, let his emotions get the better of him in my opinion.

Blackwell landed the jab when he threw it but didn't throw it enough and pressed at the wrong times or not at all and let Jr tee off far too often without moving or reply.

It seemed to me like Blackwell was more intent on proving he wasn't getting knocked out and how tough he was than actually boxing.

I'm sure Blackwell is fine and hope he bounces back and good luck to Jr, two young British fighters gave us a great fight for a title that is so often ignored these days.

 

The IBF should be ashamed of themselves but not as much as Sky TV and Mis-Matchroom.
I was switching between channels and the Sky card was simply disgusting.

Eubank jr has great head movement, slipped so many punches, was troubled by blackwells jab in the 2nd but adjusted well.

When he was signalling to billy joe and fury after a mad flurry, was so entertaining. Made his man leave on a stretcher, face splattered....brutal.

 

How much is decent? Last time I checked it broke British records for a British title purse bid

 

Around £200k and was much less than degale groves which was circa £250k from memory
