Blackwell is retiring

A shame his career is cut short but definitely the wise decision. Massive eye opener for him

 

Hope he can have a career in Personal Training or something that will pay the bills.

 

How can anyone other than a doctor know if it is a wise decision?

 

Bit hasty maybe....???? But I wish him well.

 

Not if your smart it ain't as he would have realised he's domestic level and he got badly damaged for that level of money and properly thought I ain't going to be world level it's not worth risking my health.

 

People have also got to consider his family and what they went through.

Do you think they will be happy seeing him get in the ring again, worrying if one shot could end his life? It is the best decision for everyone.

 

because no man can live without a brain.

 

No money in the world can replace your health and this is an unforgiving game.

He has already been in enough wars and the CEJ fight and what him and his family must of went through,why risk it again?Not worth it.

Lets hope he stays retired is the one thing I would add.

Personal training/punditry beckons for Nick I'd fancy.

I suspect we will see Nick at the Haye card in May.

With all due respect you do not need to be a Doctor to know anyone would benefit from not getting hit in the head. And when you do suffer the injury Blackwell has, it is clearly a 'wise decision' to retire...
