What blue print was that? Jr didn't really start fighting until the 6th round and when he did he was winning easily.

I think JR took BJS lightly and wasn't worried about points, he thought the ko was going to happen. The fight was still razor close in the end and either fighter winning would have been a fair result.

BJS made Blackwell look silly, Blackwell has nothing for JR just a sparring session to be fair.

I also predict a JR ko 8-10 rounds

Apparently CEJ was a joke according to Saunders, but that joke took him distance.

Eubank was exposed against Saunders but I definitely saw improvement in his last fight. If he has continued to get better then he stops Blackwell or dominates.

Blackwell is no BJS though. I've got the blueprint for beating Usain Bolt over 100m.... run it in 9.57 seconds. Trouble is, I can't - and neither can Blackwell box like BJS; doesn't have the footwork or ring IQ.

So for me, a reasonably comfortable points win for Eubank. Good fight though...

From talking to people about this fight many seem to be sleeping on Blackwell.

I'm leaning towards and hoping he beats Eubank. He's probably the most underrated fighter in the UK and I love an underdog!

Eubank is explosive, but he's not a big puncher. Blackwell has the chin and durability to soak up what Eubank offers.

He's tough, super fit and will come forward at Eubank... a lot of the big advantages Eubank has had over his opponents won't be so big in this fight. He also has a very very good jab when he gets it going.

For me, he'll definitely make Eubank work like we haven't seem him have too. As has been mentioned, hopefully he won't start as slow as he did against Ryder and he'll get the jab going from the off, he seems to come on stronger as fights progress so it'll be interesting !

Just to add one thing in particular to what furey said.....Nick as to avoid being too one dimensional such as not getting hit repeatedly with the same punch, particularly the uppercut....quick eubank loves to throw.

But I too feel Nick could win this.

Blackwell needs to jab, jab, jab, keep his shots straight and be nice and compact and most importantly hammer the body, a full out body assault, every clinch keep whacking Jr's sides, batter the kidneys the lot, even a few low ones on the blind side :good

Both look supremely confident and in great shape, this could be a really entertaining fight.

Mick stating in interviews that it's a great fight "if people know about it". Clear dig at Channel 5 there.

I hope this does good numbers for his sake and for the likes of Daws who have big fights coming up and need to be on TV.

Whoever wins this I'd imagine will sign with Matchroom unless Blackwell has got Fury like loyalty to Mick.

Yeah I agree, the uppercut will be the money shot for Eubank.

Blackwell to get pulled out no later than the 8th round. Although I really hope it goes 12 rounds

It would be effective if not for his inaccuracy and lack of power relative to the weight. Watch how many times he threw that shot against BJS, and count how many times Chudinov (with one eye) soaked up those 'money' shots.
