Disappointing from Blackwell tbh. Didn't work the body, just went for headshots when in close, no uppercut especially cause Eubank jnr ducks so often. Well done to CEJ. I don't see him winning a world title if I'm being honest though.
Be a good girl and fetch me a can of special brew, pronto. :good On topic, props to Eubank, never in a stinker.
Blackwell leaves on a stretcher... Should have been pulled out after 8. Lockett wasn't great in the corner... Talking about the plan starting at round 10??? What the plan was to get ****ted for 10 rounds?
The issue is, a better fighter is going to throw shots under when he ducks down and aim at his body. Not only that when he goes for his walkabouts after throwing a load of shots, a better fighter is going to put it on him, he won't get away with that. He does have lovely accuracy, but he throws the same wild shots. Any decent world class boxer/puncher is going to beat him most of the time, just my opinion.
Nicks single pace and lack of variety meant he just couldnt cope with Eubanks speed, angles, athleticism and variety. His only hope was that Eubank would tire - and Eubank didnt oblige! Well done to Eubank - he has definitely shown tonight that he has the ability to improve and move up in levels.
I had Blackwell winning 2 rounds, more to do with Eubank giving the rounds off and being outhustled. Good fight, i hope Saunders isn't a gambling man...
