If it goes to the score cards Chilemba will likely get robbed considering that the fight is in Australia.
Ordinarily Chilemba should be too good, but: - this fight is in Australia, both are featherfists, basically Chilemba will have to win wide to squeak a close decision. - Chilemba took a lot of punishment vs Kovalev and especially Gvozdyk in his last two fights. How much does he have left?
What's hilarious to me is that not only is this match-up NOT the biggest accumulation of feather-fists we're going to see in the ring this weekend, it actually is a DISTANT second... https://www.boxingforum24.com/threads/cristian-mijares-vs-fernando-david-saucedo.603520/ (although I believe El Diamante to be the p4p hardest puncher of the four, slightly ahead of Caparello who, remember, does boast knockdowns of both Kovalev and Dirrell - but Saucedo drags the cumulative average power rating of the lightweight match down so far that Chilemba's and Caparello's p4p combined pop dwarfs it. Say, on a 1-10 punching scale, Blake & Isaac are 5 and 4.5 respectively...Mijares is a 5.75, and Saucedo is a 0.000001 )
I only saw the highlights of that fight but no surprise if it was a robbery. It is Salamov's fault though as Hooper has a glass jaw and Salamov should have slept him.
