If anyone’s watching right now, how about Tej Pratap Singh! If he can pull this off over Jake Carr, it’ll be the second time within a week that a highly touted Australian prospect loses their regional belt in huge upsets (Ibrahim Balla got KTFO last Sunday)
I’ll give it my best go. Never done one before so forgive me if it’s not as detailed as someone like IB’s.
That was actually the second time Balla got his cherry popped. He got KTFO against Tabanao in 2016 as well.
1 - Both feeling each other out with their jabs early. Caparello experiencing a little more success through the first minute or so of the round. Caparello probing with lunging body shots. Chilemba picks up the activity towards the end of the round but still being exceeded by Caparello, although it’s still very much a feeling out process. Caparello 10-9 but not much happened honestly. He controlled the pace of the round
2 - Starting out a bit like the end of round 1, with Chilemba picking up his pace slightly. This is prompting Caparello to pick his pace up though and he’s looking much sharper through the first minute. Chilemba keeps finding himself on the back foot but he finally lands some counters. Caparello back to the body shots and jabbing from distance. He’s boxing pretty nicely so far, although nothing too crazy has happened. 10-9 Caparello, 20-18 Caparello
3 - Chilemba looks like he wants to try to establish the ring generalship this round, I wish they had corner cams so we could see what Roy told him in between the round. However after the first minute, its back to the similar rangy jabbing affair, with Caparello finding himself more successful. Caparello is on the back foot a little more this round but Chilemba isn’t doing much after establishing position. Caparello actually countering nicely on the back foot. 10-9 Caparello, 30-27. Commentators have it 29-28 Caparello
