is boxing becoming like footy now where as soon as a fighter loses fans are calling for his head? Ive noticed a trend in this happening especially when a prospect gets beat! Im sure theres alot more to the defeat then just want the trainer did the build up....
Yep it's your only as good as your last fight in this world now. A trainer can train 4 fighters to titles and his top boy loses a fight and he's become crap over night. Like in football, Trainers have bad nights. They fail to identify things from ringside or read the fight wrong from there vantage point. There not just there to talk bollocks for 1 min. Lot of pressure on them on a fight night and at times in a sport like this fighters can often fail to listen to instructions as well as execute them to perfection. I judge trainers work by the development of there fighters over a period of time. There gameplans and there work in the corner as well as the ability to adapt to different styles.
