    Freddie Roach.

Freddie was ultra confident that pac can take out hoya since he handled both fighters. They wanna race and catch the money train since this is hoya's farewell fight. Remember what pac said after beating david when he was interviewed? He would stay at either 135 or 140. When he was asked about 147, arum cut and said he won't go beyond there as "they were afraid of cotto."

Maybe roach was hyping it to pac and pac was interested on $ and a dream match agianst hoya so he mentioned it to arum if the fight was possible. I can also imagine roach trying to convince arum that this is $ and that pac can take out hoya since he handled both fighters.

Imo, i think arum was too cautious of pac going to 147, and was only interested at 135 or 140 so that his stable boxer soto would get to face pac.

So it was roach allright , imo..

But i don't blame him though, i wanna see pac lie on a stretcher anyways..after dominating everybody i got tired of seeing him whoop ass anyways.

Is roach still going through with the stipulation of him getting paid only if pac wins?

Well he said that to prove he is not interested in the money generated by this fight, he would generously give off 10% of his trainer's fee to pac.

I really don't know what Roach is thinking since he himself produced the **** De La Hoya we saw against Mayweather. The Forbes fight showed he could go the distance while dominating and showed Hoya fighting in his natural style again. Does anyone actually think Roach can produce a better gameplan than Mayweather Sr? He trained Hoya and lost and trained Hopkins and lost and then he says both are shot. What a ****.

He probably does have enough to live happily ever after. He has handled a lot of big name stars and gotten some paper for it. No way can you call him Money Roach but he prolly has enough.

I agree with psychopath. I don't believe Roach's hype for a second. They signed this fight two months ago and have been telling one story after another, playing this thing like a soap opera in the media.

It's called putting your money where your mouth is.

Read Doug Fischers Southern Cali Notebook where he talks about Calendron doing well with DLH in sparring becasue DLH doesn't like smaller guys.

Forbes is an inch taller than Pac - He didn't look too beaten up after the fight...

You mean Calderon? This is exactly my point, personally.

That's Ivan Calderon, a guy with outrageous skills, and natural slickness out the ass. Manny Pacquiao isn't a fighter that comes equipped like that. Whole different ballgame.
