I don't know the heavyweights; and I have watched almost no fights that occurred the last decade. So I don't really know any of the very contemporary guys.

@salsanchezfan you ever see Avelar vs Vásquez? If not, you should definitely change that.

Beware of watching old time fighters ( Ketchel is a point in case ) they are not as described in old Ring magazines, for me they ( apart from toughness ) couldn't hold a candle to modern day fighters, Ketchel , in the films of his fights was a very limited fighter, no style, lots of lunges that are out of distance, wide open stance, no combo punching ( Leonard would bring that in around 1916 ish ) IMO fighters like , Tiger, Zale, even Briscoe would have NO trouble beating him, and most of his foes.
I would also apply that to other ATGs of the turn of the century, so, Attell no chance with Sanchez, Philly Jack no chance with Foster, Batt Nelson no chance with Duran, etc, shame I know. but sometimes our heroes have feet of clay.

    Most current fighters.

    A lot of pre-WW2 fighters, especially pre-1930s.

More pre-Tiger fights of Joey Giardello's.

That's a big one. I've never seen any Giardello.

I'll check that out, I think i have. Avelar was a big puncher, from what I've seen.

It's one of the 10 best fights ever imo. It's not something you'd forget!

One of the great fighters who drew me into being a boxing fan...way, way back in 1964.

Still on my watch list - I keep letting other fights and fighters distract me.

I haven't done anything more than a cursory look, but I couldn't see the Hank fight, which is what I was really looking forward to. From the highlights I've seen, he looks awesome. I need to check him out soon tbh.
