    Great thread.

    Kenny Norton comes to mind. He was excellent at blocking the jab and then countering with his own.

    I only watched very few of his fights but I think Arguello was also great at blocking and parrying

    Thomas Hearns was very good at firing punches off after blocking/parrying. He did it very well when digging to Barkley's body in their first fight.
