It should be a great scrap with both having heavy hands.
Smith Jr is a live underdog but I think Beterbiev takes him out late.

I actually think Smith hits harder on his best punch than Berterbiev. But Beterbiev throws three for every one of everybody else. His assault is just relentless and accurate. He's gonna have to get old before he loses. imho.

I'd say they have different types of power but I think Beterbiev hits harder and certainly with short punches. He can generate tremendous power with punches that travel very short distances. Both are extremely physically strong too. Gonna be a barnburner

Agree. I think Artur will win. And if he does then it's got to be vs Bivol for all the marbles. These guys just need to get paid right for the amount of talent on display. Sadly I'm not sure they will.

Yeah that really needs to happen next should he win. E-Hearn and now Buatsi too want Bivol in the UK next but I hope Bivol declines (I doubt he will) and tries to secure a unification match up against Beterbiev or the winner of Beterbiev vs Smith.

Yeah both Beterbiev's and Gvozdyk's purses for their fight were a lot less than they should've been. That's how they were rewarded for unifying in their third and second defences respectively.

Beterbiev is not getting old anytime soon.

Listen to his coach carefully from 12:40 onwards

He is a genetic archetype for boxing; compact muscle, fast twitch fibres and big heart and lungs for endurance.
These are attributes you cannot take away from Beterbiev.

His coach is also 72 years old and is world reknowned for keeping athletes in peak 100% form.

This is the same guy from 1986

He has been doing this for nearly 50 years. Sorry Smith and Bivol fans but Father Time will not defeat Beterbiev yet.

When you live clean and train hard and dont have to rely on reflexes then it is very hard to overcome such an opponent.
