I LOL'ed at the part with the "zuffa zombies" these guys are brain-dead, and discussing mma with them is pointless. These idiots only regurgitate what dana white tells them too, they cant think for themselves and deserve to be called by that name.

I'm always amused at the amount of hate around here, I swear some people wake up in the morning pissed off, with their Dana White Vodoo doll and stick pins in it all day. Im not full of hate, but people who bash fedor, people who discredit werdum, arlovski and dan Henderson as ufc rejects their opinion is ****. they simply parrot dana white. actually thats not even worthy of being called an opinion because it its simply quoting someone else. Thats a zuffa zombie.

again I don't hate, it is just irritating to have the same mindless debates. like when I hear someone say "duran sucks he lost to hearns, haggler and leonard" - I have listened to all the points and counterpoints way too often. I could have a more interesting discussion with myself. you underestimate yourselves, dont be zombies, you can come to your own conclusions. why be a follower when you can lead.

 

Dan Henderson was the number 1 contender at 185 and rightly so. However he leaves and fades away. Losing to Shields was the worse thing Dan could do. He hurt himself and hurt SF badly as it is that win that prompted the UFC to chase Shields and take away SF most credible champ.

Dan lost because Shields was better than him on that night. Prime for prime it wouldn't even have been close. You can't fault Dan for that. That's the nature of the fight game. Either way Dana only courted Shields because he's hell bent on taking away business from ALL his competitors with his biggest rival being SF. That's simply asinine. Dana doesn't give two shits about MMA. All he cares about is he's brand and he's willing to market that by ANY means neccesary.

 

C'mon Scurla, you are being extreme, do you really think thats the only reason? Do you really think it has nothing to do with Shields being considered one of the best in the world?

 

Dan is **** poor off his back, that is why he lost.

That same Dan beat Palhares, Franklin and Bisping.

I don't think he is only there to get fighters otherwise he wouldn't give up guys like Daley and Karo over a moral stand. I think he does give a **** about MMA. The card in Canada cost them more in insurance money but they still took the fight there to grow MMA and obviously the business.
