Dude, despite what you thought, I've always held Floyd in high regards as a fighter. In my eyes he was always P4P number one (unofficially), even when Pac began knocking heads off in recent times.

Oh, Mosley tried and tried. Floyd didn't make that mistake again.

gave the first round even 10-10...i believe floyd had more of an edge really but not wanting to let a bias play in so ill score it 10-10 floyd instead of 10-9

I don't think there is necessarily a blueprint to beating Floyd. There are, however, a lot of tactics that have had some success against him. Being able to utilize a variety of them in your game and being able to comprehensively outwork Floyd is the key to winning.

Absolutely have to be able to match his foot speed and agility. Otherwise, forget about it.

:deal this is it. That's Floyds trump card in almost all of his fights. He's usually too fast for the other guy.

The only guy I can remember matching him in hand/footspeed was Judah, and he gave Floyd problems. Judah didn't have the workrate or the willpower to keep it up though. That won't be the case against Pacquiao.

i think that too many fighters goin into fights with mayweather have decided its pressure that will beat him if anything floyd loves it when you pressure him it leaves more holes for him to pick his shots

If he puts on his shoulder roll, you can't keep punching in farther and farther.I sat there and actually said "Don't do it Shane!" when he tried throwing straights at Floyd and watched him **** farther and farther back before he stuck Shane in the face. Let him off, feint,go for a body shot.Just don't throw farther at his face trying to hit it.

I don't know if PW has the heart to keep going after him if he's losing rounds.

I think Pac's biggest advantages will be lateral movement, similar hand speed and punching from angles. Also I think Pac has more one punch power than Floyd.

It's actually not as complicated as people think. Aggression and high punch output tend to put Mayweather into a defensive shell.

People are getting way too into this 'blueprint' thing as far as Mayweather is concerned and that is exactly his point. The opponent that beats Mayweather will be as sound technically, and hungrier then him.

I know a lot of people like to discredit Roger, but he actually knows his ****. Only skills and luck win fights. You have to be able to box if you're fighting Floyd or your in for a long night.. But even that isn't enough, you've got to be the hungrier fighter. People getting too into styles and **** and forgetting the basic principles of boxing.

Floyd is unbeaten mostly due to the fact that he can box his ass off, and his will to win is too strong.
