Can't give a link, so don't ask. It's out there, go find the article.

    Margarito/Garcia attendance: 22,000+
Mayweather/Mosley attendance: 15,117 (this figure from a separate article)

Arum also said that he would like to have Margarito fight once more before Margarito would possibly face pound-for-pound king Manny Pacquiao, in order for Margarito to shake off the ring rust associated with a long layoff.

How much was the ticket prices? Something tells me a ringside seat wasn't costing $1250. Let's put it into perspective.

Why? A different style of performance against a C level opponents fools no-one. Margo still has gaps in his defense that both Mayweather and Pacquiao could exploit with ease, he's still slow and he still can't hold a torch to either in terms of technical skill.

If he employs his old style and tries to pressure Mayweather, he gets picked apart by a guy with vastly superior and quicker footwork, vastly superior timing and technical skills and far greater handspeed. Same with Pacquiao.

If he employs his new style and tries to box Pacquiao, he gets completely out-boxed by a guy with superior technical skills, defence, timing, hand-speed and punch accuracy. Same with Mayweather.

These two guys are head and shoulders above the rest of boxing. I don't believe anybody in or around their weight-class can beat them accept for each other.

How much were the tickets and what was the total gate

I doubt the gate total was anywhere near Mayweathers. For all we know Arum could of given away a buch of those tickets
