Watch that Margo fight again, Cotto was taking a lot of punishment from rounds 2 on. In fact, his nose got busted up in round 2. Rounds 3-5, he was taking a lot of body shots. Against Pacquiao, he won 1 or 2 rounds the entire fight. He took a sustained beating from round 5 on. Cotto actually took a lot more punishment than Hatton. Mayweather only throws about one or two punches as a time. Hatton took a beating, but it wasn't as a bad as either beating Cotto took. Ditto for his fight against Pacquiao. He was knocked out so quickly, that he didn't get a chance to suffer a sustained beating. Sustained beatings are much worse than getting stopped with one shot.

IMO Arum is using Cotto as a 'name' to get Foreman over and make him a bigger star, mostly in the Jewish market so he can market him to the Jewish people & bring in whole different demographic of fans. Arum makes fights for two reasons, to make someone look good & to make money. This will more than likely do both. As much as I like Cotto, I think it's a bad style matchup for him & Foreman will look pretty good in winning

NOT FUNNY AT ALL. He put his life on the line for 4 more rounds compared to that quitter named OSCAR. Yet Oscar receives countless acolades for having a fine career.

Arum's like Emperor Palpatine. Always looking for a new apprentice to get rid of his 2nd in command.

he did the same thing with Erik Morales once Manny entered the picture. He'll do the same when Pac leaves the big picture.

Funny how people still hate the f*cker for speaking his own mind.

    #1) He's there to sell a fight

#2) It got you thinking if you should buy a cotto fight to see if his theory is wrong

    shrewd business man.

The accumulation of blows like he took against Margo and Pac is more damaging than the one punch KO Pac landed on Hatton. If given a choice, I would personally take the one and done over the alternative.

    Typical hater comment about Oscar.

What does the last fight of Oscar's career have to do with Oscar receiving countless accolades for having a fine entire career?

That was actually after the 5th round, not the 7th

Pac put a vicious beating on Cotto

So? Cotto always swells, cuts and gets scuffed up. Some guys do - Its not like every fighter has the same skin thickness or bone structure, so it doesn't matter. Guys like Arturo Gatti have literally had swollen areas after the very first punch.

The thing is I was watching some Cotto tapes from before Margarito, and I don't think he beats Foreman regardless.

Also, if you compare Cotto's performance against Mosley to his performance against Clottey, the Margarito beating didn't take anything out of him. It's the same Cotto, except that he's cut.
