This card reeks of dog****:emma who the hell is jennings?? and why the hell would anyone buy this crap? Arum needs to realize that in today's poor economy people won't buy that BS.
This card sucks balls!!!! Two great fighters yes but why is Arum doing this ****?? PPV?? WTF??? I hate the old ******* Arum.. This is not PPV material.. The problem is that HBO didn't want the fights. .But he could've tried other networks.. This won't even make 100,000
These guys are both coming off losses. Cotto needs a tune-up, obviously. Pavlik has to fight Rubio since he's the WBC mandatory. If HBO and Showtime won't buy these fights, they should have put them on seperate cards on Verses! Adamek/Cunningham in December; Cotto/Jennings in January; Pavlik/Rubio in February. That would make a hell of a nice line up on Verses. I think that in the end, when it comes time for big fights, they'd end up selling more PPV buys buy giving big name fighters more exposure.
b.s ppv,cotto-jennings will be good while it lasts,is pavlik fighting the same rubio that kofi jantuah almost killed in 30 seconds?.
its not HBO. but regardless i have no problem with these guys having tuneup fights. but im not gonna watch them.
The only people to blame for this being on PPV is Pavlik Cotto, and Top Rank. HBO knows what these fights are, and would probably air them if they got them for dirt cheap. ESPN and Versus would also probably show them, but the fights aren't worth what the fighters want to get paid. Since they can't get enough money to pay Pavlik and Cotto from a non PPV channel they put it on PPV. These should be on Versus or ESPN.
WTF  54.99 for that explosive diarrhea of a fight card Bob Arum is a moron, this card should be no more then 29.99
Only those who are hard core fans of one fighter or the other will buy this. Pavlik is my current favorite, and Cotto is #3. I split the cost of fights with my sister and my brother, and my Sis always cooks up a big dinner. It's a family event, and splitting the cost 3 ways makes it cheap, so I'll buy it. However, putting these fights on Verses or ESPN would attract a much broader audience. Considering that we are going to see Pavlik and Cotto look very good sparking their opponents, both fighters would end up with a bunch of new fans. That means more buys for the next big fight. Wouldn't it be a wonderful thing if boxing actually made sense?
