arum isnt for the hardcore boxing fans. all boxing junkies no what he is about . what he does is interest all the ones who arent really hardcore fans . all he does is try to put names in the ring.i know hes thinking about the money but in the long run he would have more money iif he was fan friendly . he would create more money and create more households names if he wasnt such a horrible match maker . he makes sure his fighters win where he can get the most money thats wut hes all about.

Martinez wants to fight Chavez/Pacquiao/Mayweather because they're household names that bring in a lot of $$$. It's not Arum's fault Lou Dibella is a tv packager and not a promoter.

Promotion companies remind me of WWE shows with Arum being Raw and Goldenboy being Smackdown :-(

Givin an unbias assesement. For the hardcore fans. Arum is pretty bad. He stops big fights from happening. In house fights is killing a lot of potential big match up. But as a whole, he's probably doing more good then bad, to keep boxing alive mainstream wise. Boxing is desperate need of stars. Arum is probably the best right know at creating stars, and milking them to their potential. The fact that he stopping the pac/money fight form happening makes him look bad. But with floyd having jail problems arum cant be blamed anymore for that not happening.

why wont this ****er die already! its like he s sticking around like a bitter old **** just to **** up fights and ruin the sport. you d think a man his age would be over the money- and winning- and want to leave a legacy of making great fights- and people happy, and leaving the sport in a healthy state! he just wants to win every single grudge he can. bitter old ****- hopefully he kicks the bucket soon , but then he ll probably be replaced by another greedy ****.

its a good thing having multiple promoters- in a way. UFC controls the fighters a little too much- not giving fighters the fights THEY want sometimes, true- it makes the big fights- and ensures the fan frienldiness of the sport, but say when someone like ortiz wants to stick around- the sport dosent allow them to act int heir own best intersts. mutliple promoters alows for eveyrone to get their own share for their own best. its good and bad im trying to say. BUT this is only the case when everyone comes to the table for the best interests of the fighter- and of the sport. Arum is content to allow the best two fighters to never fight- just so he can skim more money off the top off of meaningless fights with his own stalemates. his attitude is that he OWNS the fighters- that he is their boss- not that he is their rep- and that they are his, effectively they pay him- he works for them- but he has that jewish attitude that he owns everybody.

i work for alot of jews in my line of work, every job i ve had past 10 years. and when you leave- they treat you like youve betrayed them- and try and **** you over in the future- as if they own you, and you owe them everything. its a strange attitude- im not being racist here- its truthfully how they see people. i remember a guy from work left to join a nother compay- after 8 years- the guy had a great relationship with everyone, when he announched it- they called secuirity and had him boooted out on the spot, and his thigs thrown from the second floor while the boss called him an ungrateful traitor. this is the kind of guy that arum is. a contract and a business relationship ties both people and benefits both for the length of the contract- meaning after- their is no formal oligation of either side. Arum sees it differently - as though these fighters are his property.

Promoters need the casual fans to make the big bucks for their fighters. So there's some sense here. :thumbsup

:patsch Posters like you are too immature, and too vested in your favorite fighter to have a clear opinion here.

Arum is ****, that's not a secret. But what posters like you and most here do is place ALL the blame on him for just about everything that goes wrong. It's pretty ridiculous the way you and so many other kids act. And yes, it's not difficult to see that many of you are stupid kids, or have the mentallity of one.

if I had to hate Arum for not making certain fights, then why stop with him? WHy not just hate ALL promoters and managers in boxing? Go hate on GBP (your he's gfave's promoter), or Haymon for not allowing his guys to fight. Go hate on HBO for enabling boxing and to get to this point of busines first, sport second attitude. Go hate on Floyd for only fighting GBP fighters.

On second thought, don't hate any of them. Do yourself a favor, get ****in educated on the matter. :patsch

:tired how many times do I have to say that all promoters suck and are ruining the sport, but Arum is the worst.
It's like me hating Mitt Romney. You can say well all politicians lie, and that's true. But they're not all as bad as him
