That's only partially true though. Promoters aren't the only ones to blame. Who overpaid low drawing boxers based on their ties? Or allowed many to fight on TV against hand picked comp. Or gave fight dates to a powerful advisors just to showcase a low drawing, low ratings fighter?

What about Floyd? As skilleful as he is, what GOOD has he done for boxing the last few years? Did he use his star power to make the sport better? **** no. Did he try to use his drawring power and ties to make sure testing is better? hell no. ****, he fights once a year or so, and his last fight was a pointless farce that did absoltuely NOTHING but harm his image more and boxing. Yet you just thought it was 'cool' that he did that.

And even boxers have to take a lot of the blame as well. Too many aren't willing to face the top guys for fear of losing out on a pay day. And that doesn't just go for Arum's fighters either.

So you can try to act like you hate all promoters, but no, you just hate Arum and TR because you love Floyd. Don't try to act like that's not the case. TR MADE YOU a boxing fan. TR GAVE YOU Floyd mayweather. You should be thanking Arum and TR for introducing you to your hero....

Until Arum gets it through his head that he's not the only promoter in the game then he deserves every critical opinion thrown at him.
