wow, freaking bob never sugar coating anything. I agree with him though. As soon as Williams and Kirkland fell thru they should of changed the date. Even when Ortiz got beat they should of pulled the date.

Canelo is fighting a guy who just broke Ortiz jaw... Something NOBODY has done not even Mayweather with his cheap shot, it's an ok fight(stay busy).

i'm sure arum was saying this to slate, not canelo, but schaefer and his card who would go directly against chavez-martinez. schaefer should have pulled out of the date.

I'm sure Arum just hurt Canelo's feeling with that one.

mayweather ****ed ortiz jaw up for good. i think maybe lopez wouldnt of broke his jaw if may didnt clobber it all nite n especially with the cheap shot that really put a hurt in it . the jaw was damaged goods and anyone who really put there hands on him would of broke it . could be wrong but i think may contributed to that broken jaw. mayweather loosened it up 4 lopez an the lopez punched it off.

it is a bad fight but fite but i wouldn't say it isn't meaningful.

alvarez shoulda fought lara , vanes , or trout obviously but canelo is young an there kinda building him like chavez jr soon enough canelo will be fighting the big dogs . even tho he already be fighting the big dogs sesnse hes been champ. instead of fightin guys moving up in weight classs. alvarez and gbp leave them selves open to get hated on for the way the carefully picked old names to fight canelo. its really not helping canelo n when he gets in there with some one young hungry n confident like him then we will finally see wut he is made of .

now that is wut we are gettin with the lopez fight but the fight before ortiz he was fightin at 140 and when he fought ortiz he weighed in less the 147.
