Terrible promoter? Arum's been putting together much better fights than Golden Girl has....they're all scumbags in the pomoting business but Arum seems to have all the real fighters: Pavlik, Cotto, Margarito, Lopez, Pecquiao....Arum's been putting together the fights that matter:
Cotto/Margarito
Pavlik/Taylor
Pacquiao/Marquez
The list goes on....what meanigful fights has GBP put together?

The crowd seemed to go dead, and then there were cheers for Arum's statements mixed in with what sounded like collective confusion. De La Hoya got mangled up pretty bad in his hometown.)

This was one of the best things that will happen this year, along with President Obama getting elected. I hope Oscar enjoyed his two hollow victories over Julio Sr. Because with them, he got the disrespect and disgust of the People of Mexico, and many, many other fans who see him as a sham, an Oreo and a pile of rich boy garbage, and you can quote me on all of that. :fire :hi:

yes, next time one of his fans tells me he likes delahoya, i will tell them " the people of mexico are disgusted by and have no respect for oscar. jack presscock said so". im sure that will straighten them right out.

Yes, I'm sure a crowd screaming support for DLH was utterly turned around by lying ol' Bob Arum with a single rather half-assed speech.

If fans were truly that fickle, they're not worth having as fans at all.
