I don’t know about entire cards. But from what I’ve seen, Top rank still puts on the best fights. As full of sht as Arum is.

It’s always someone else’s fault with Arum, every time.

Bob Arum is just like Hearn.

He's a parasite, who offers very little that a reasonably bright fighter couldn't do for themselves.

I've no time for men like him.

I think he is like a vampire, waiting in the wings to sink his teeth into a healthy fighter and drain them of whatever he can get...usually money.

Yes, yes, I'm sure he'll have his supporters.

I just think people like him, and those who surround boxing, who often coerce or trick young fighters into signing bad deals, give very little to the sport and take an awful lot.

The fighters are first, second, and third, and anyone that is a necessity for the running of the sport and organising events should stay in the background and keep their mouth shut.

It baffles me why fanboys support entities/businessmen like Arum/Hearn/PBC/Matchroom... They are all conmen who seek maximum reward/minimum risk which usually entails robbing the public of fights they want to see. And when the big/great fights do happen there are usually several conditions /clauses/external factor (to name a few age/fighters on the decline, weight clauses etc) that make the fight a fight not on even terms (aka a fair fight) .

It took Old Bob 3 weeks to respond and this is the best BS response he could come up with?

Sure they do, but they are too infrequent and Top Rank aren't very good at monetising and maximing their fights.

Look what DAZN and Hearn have done in 3 years. They have turned the traditional business model(s) on their head and gone global.

Hearn worked hard at trying to make the fight.

Arum did nothing, but lied to Hearn and to the public, assuring him that Wilder's legal battle was futile.

I'm all for the big fights being made but I want full cards. I want nights of boxing. It's not like they even put on big fights frequently. The sport is being completely left behind by the UFC model.

I don't think Eddie is talking to Bob when he's in discussion with Top Rank.

Why do people side with, believe, care, or analyze the words of boxing promoters? These people are not your friends. You cannot hope to understand all the elements of the equation they are in, and as such, you will never come close to solving the riddle of why things break a certain way in their world. People on this forum treat boxing promoters as common Joe's do politicians. It's absurd. They are playing a game you simply cannot hope to understand.

Their goal is to make as much money as possible. That's it. Integrity and honesty have nothing to do with it. Absolutely nothing. Stop listening to statements from promoters. It makes you look as dumb as they think you are.

Lmao this is the standard Matchroom hypejob card. Yeah there will be exciting to watch fights here and there but there's nothing of real value here
