I must say I was a little shocked to hear the Bobfather make these kind of statements about Crawford. Bob must seriously be losing it. If he is losing $$ on Crawford, then maybe he should have tried to make more of an effort to make big fights with fighters from other promotions. And if he doesn't want to promote Crawford anymore, then split amacibly and wish Crawford the best, don't start badmouthing your golden goose because he's not making you enough $$. It's honestly crazy for Arum to say this, becasue by saying this, he's basically screaming "my promotion isn't successful".

His other golden goose (Loma) just lost and embarrassed himself, why in the world would you alienate your biggest star by complaining that he's not making you enough $$? Even if it's true, it could have a lot to do with Covid and no fans or the fact that he's fighting on ESPN rather than PPV. It's just unbelivable to me that Bob would make such stupid statements about Crawford not making him enough $$. It's a terrible look for Top Rank and now I don't see any way Crawford stays with Top Rank which is probably a good thing for Bud, maybe he can finally start fighting better competition.

Problem is Crawford resigned a multiyear deal with him back in 2018. That's all on Crawford.

 

The Bobfather should cut his losses and go on overdrive with Teofimo, Bud is a killer in the ring and deserves better than Bob moaning about his demeanour outside of the ring.
At the end of the day, the fighter has to be selfish, you sign for and get in with the company that will give you the best fights - Welterweight is undoubtedly PBC.
