    You're way too hard on Porter, he's crude but it works, usually....but yeah I doubt Shawn could steamroll any of them a few years ago. Although stylistically Paulie was tailor made for him.

    Vargas would definitely eat some crispy left hook counters from Garcia; it would be unavoidable. The question is whether his chin is solid enough to absorb them. I suspect it would be.

    Yeah and Devon Alexander. That was really one heck of a carefully manufactured title reign. (until the boneheaded decision to put him in with a strong, prime, technically sound natural welterweight like Brook :-()

    One of the first guys I became friendly with on here was El Blanco and I warned him for about a month before Brook-Porter to pull out of his lifetime bet ban with lep....he didn't listen.:lol:

    Vargas can't deal with boxers. He struggled with Alkebev or whatever and Broner destroyed and stopped him. Plus Bradley being the mental case that he is turning into let his guard down in the 12th round and got caught, but was clearly beating the breaks off of Vargas.

    I wouldn't say he doesn't deserve a rematch but definitely not now. Maybe down the road when he gets a few more wins. And Broner/Vargas would be fun to watch...
