Here's a better question, when was the last time you saw PBF get on his toes and box?????? I'm not saying Cotto can outbox PBF but I do think he can utitlize his jab on PBF. Yes Cotto has been Rocked!!!! I make no excuses, **** Cotto was taking straight right hands to the chin against Bailey at 140lbs yet he gets hit in the temple against Chop Chop and all of a sudden he's china chinned. I can't question your logic it is what it is...Thing is Chop Chop had PBF stunned at least twice when they fought so yes....surprise surprise PBF is quite human. Another question to you is who has PBF fought that could beat Cotto? DLH? then why not compare Mosley DLH's son.....lets ponder brother.

:rofl @ this thread. Usually when people post **** like this without a source, it's because they made it up. As if the countless grammar and spelling errors weren't enough. :deal

    Gullible crowd.

I would love to see this fight happen even though this probably is not true. Cotto has become a much more sturdy fighter at 147 than he was at 140... and he would definitely press Mayweather to the limit. Mayweather has shown that he could deal with that and overcome... so I would love to see which guy could enforce his will in this fight.

cotto is more deserving of a shot with floyd than dela hoya. cotto had already beaten one of the champs at 147 in quintana.

    WTF?

Maybe in your little world Cotto "needs" to take out Margo before deserving a shot at PBF. But to the rest of us sober people Cotto is the one with a belt and more star power then the other two champs so logically speaking Cotto vs PBF could be made today and I doubt we will have an angry mob of boxing fans protesting because he never fought Margo.....:blood

Is this the ****ing twilight zone....:huh

PBF hasn't boxed boxed in a while. He is content pot shotting the **** out of his opponents. Those pot shots take a lot out of them as the fight wears on. As far as the Rocked comment, there is a big difference between being ROCKED and being stunned. As you said, Cotto was ROCKED and PBF was stunned. Never said PBF was superman or anything, but he has developed a technique to roll with the punches. The W that Cotto has over mosley is = or slightly < PBF's over DLH. The reason I say slightly less than is b/c DLH was recognized #1 @ 154 at the time, where SSM was just a top WW with a recognizable name.

What you say makes sense Caper, but you have to remember how the GB himself was in his hay day. You had to bring something to the table to fight him and if you were on the verge of being worthy/ credible then you had to fight your way up to him.

Look at Roman Karmazin ... he was undefeated and on the verge of fighting him at 154, but then he lost to Castillejo and the fight was off.

Karmazin missed his shot at big money and a chance to bang with the Golden Boy.

Its a part of the game once you've reached a certain plateau ...

Look at Gatti ... he brought the fans and clout ... he was on HBO as many times as RJJ, Golden Boy, and SSM.

Baldomir ... beat the undisputed champ in an upset and was a overnight success.

DLH ... need I say more

Cotto is deserving but it gets deeper than that once you talk about a mega fight.

Floyd has been in the game for 12 years and has been a prodigy since he was a teenager. This guy isn't just going to fight a guy that just hit his stride because people think he's more deserving -- a fight right now will take away the anticipation and the desperation for fans to want to see this fight.

Now if Cotto wins and keeps winning in the same fashion he's been doing then the fans will crave this fight so much they'll be willing to boycott boxing for a while. (hypothetically speaking)

Agreed with the comparison and the view on pot shots ...

Yup one punch at a time ... a punch w/ tons of power and force behind it. Rather it be to the head or to the body ... it will take alot of a fighter and hold back their attack. I seen more times of recent that fighters abandon their offense for defense against Floyd.

If you noticed as well every since Floyd has figured out the problems with his hands -- he's been more aggressive ... only time you see him box is when he's having hand problems.

It all started with the Chop Chop Corely fight from then on ... PBF has been a stalker. (exception of the fight with Baldomir because he hurt his hands)

But what does that say about a boxer that could win a fight w/ one hand and do it convincingly.

You were the one who wasn't keeping it boxing, and being borderline insulting.

Anyways I'm ready to move on.

**** man is it not obvious that Cotto was hit on the temple, his equalibrium was taken out of wack, the last part of the human body to recover from dehydration is you freaking brain. Lack of fluid in the head leads to less cushion for the brain to float in thus leading to the conclusion that if your great grandmother smacked Cotto with her coach purse hard enough he's gonna be dizzy.

Again its your own opinion....I happen to think Cotto's preformance was much convincing then PBF's against DLH's though many could see the fight in a different light. The saddest thing you wrote was DLH as the recognized #1 at 154lbs at the time.....why? because he beat a battered and humuliated punch bag in Ricardo Mayorga....LOLOLOL  your incredible....I'd take a top ranked WW over anyone at 154 with a belt at that point in time. ha!
