C_Money I never heard of Arum offering PBF 20m to fight Cotto ... he said in an interview once that "now that Floyd has fought Oscar, he's going to want Oscar money and I don't know who's going to give it to him."

the recent reports of a lawsuit against the two ... I don't think Arum is going to come off more money to settle the lawsuit and on top of that pay FLoyd his desired purse to make the fight happen.

I see Mayweather schooling Cotto. He won't refuse $20 million. The only problem here is:

1. Do we have to wait 6 months after the Oscar-Floyd rematch? That would make the fight happen in April-May 2009.

2. Will Cotto have the time to fight everyone he needs to fight? Arum has already said Cotto will fight Gomez, Margarito-Cintron winner, Mayorga and his mandatory Joshua Clottey. Maybe someone else becomes available for Cotto (like a Mosley rematch, Williams etc) or he gets injured. That could be a problem and delay Mayweather-Cotto.

 

DLH is one and done this year ... he's going to take the rest of the year off after his victory over forbes.

Oscar hasn't fought twice in one year in I don't know how long -- but its been a while since he's been so active.

I don't think he does it ... I think he's satified with the win and fighting - maybe Forrest for his farewell fight.
