    After the cotto fight he said it would be at 147 because mayweather would come in at 147 regardless and he didnt think the 2 extra pounds would matter any way.

    No, I don't often have the chance to watch full post-fight press conferences, especially when promoters are talking. I'll listen to fighters after the fight, but don't often seek out promoters' sections. They often just ramble, especially after fights.

    So, it sounds like Arum might have to have a talk with Roach about whether this would take place at 145 or 147. Arum seems not to care here. Roach has said he wants it at 145. Guess we'll find out soon enough.

    Arum said the extra 2 lbs don't matter, so they why the hesitation from Team Pac to fight at straight up Welter?

    would allowing Floyd the 2 lbs really make that much a difference?

    Mayweather is going to be bigger regardless

    Why should he (Floyd) have to cut under the Welterweight limit to fight a WW champion?

    granted Cotto fought at 145, but this is ridiculous .. just fight at the division .. don't make another catchweight.

    **hopefully Arum does talk with Roach, because there is too much emphasis on weight

    we have weight divisions, Manny and Floyd are Welterweights, no catchweight should be needed

    and Arum can't keep saying the weight "wouldn't matter" when a catchweight is being used

    it's something you cannot prove ^ but if weight doesn't matter,
