    650,000?!
    BWAHAHAHA!

That's what you get when you have boxing fans who knew this fight was going to be ass!

Mayweather vs. Mosley will do quadruple that shitty total!

    **** Bob Arum!

Should be around 800,000-900,000 buys in the end, which is really good, all things considered.

I don't think the numbers are important, though. Clottey isn't a draw and the fight recieved very little hype.

No, fans don't really know that, trust me. Marquez vs Floyd was a ridiculous fight and it sold way more than it should have, if the fans actually knew how stupid that fight was then it wouldn't have sold much. This fight didn't sell that well because you have a guy that can't draw flies in Clottey, and Pac is not american and not a good english speaker, but a warrior and has a pleasing style so Pac does tend to sell regardless.

Drop the bull****. I really don't give a **** about who sells more between Pac and Floyd, I'll leave that to nuthuggers like you. But I do have to correct you on that bull**** about how "fans know when it's a shitty fight". NO THEY DON'T. Proof? Again, Marquez vs Floyd and there are other examples.

Why are you all SOOO worried about PPV numbers? Because Floyd told you to worry about it? Sheep... Do you get some of that money? What kind of victory do you get out that? It gets you off? Pathetic.

If he told you that you were a male, he probably somehow stole your physical proof of manhood just as he said that sentence. :admin

Oh wow, it is easy to find quotes where Arum stated preliminary buys for Pac-Hatton were 1.6 to 2 million and it did 850k. So 650k is likely a reach or best case scenario here.

Not bad for a fight against a not so well known fighter like Clottey

Pity the undercard stunk out the joint

It wasn't Arum who said that. There was an CNN article where the writer apparently got his sources crossed up and referred to a USA Today article with Arum on De La Hoya-Pacquiao.

Im guessing it did around 675k then.

He said it wont get lower than 650k so that number is not a guess, more than likely thats how much they have counted so far. He makes it sound as though there are a lot more to be counted though, which is unlikely, I'll be surprised if it breaks 700k.
