I have feeling PPV numbers would def. not reach a million.

There are more than 30M Mexicans here in US, why wouldn't that matter?

Those are GREAT numbers considering that Clottey isn't a very well known name and there was no 24/7 show for the fight. Pac can seriously draw.

You said he had a whole country behind him. That country is Mexico and they have nothing to do with American PPV buys. According to Bob Arum, African-Americans are the reason the fight sold so well and not Mexicans or Mexicans-Americans.

Manny wasn't "made" yet when he was fighting JMM. When Manny pulverized Oskie, JMM stock went up because he gave Manny fits and Floyd got rewarded for that.

If this tops 700,000 that is super impressive for the lack of media attention and promotion.

****, 51,000 live is no small feat either.

If you were an annoying Floyd disciple, you should have known that he said it, not me. He's justifying the JMM fight instead of fighting Moseley.

Pac is def. no Tyson, DLH, and I would even dare to say a Trinidad who didn't even speak a word of English ,when it comes to drawing fans. His popularity is growing since his defeats over DLH and Hatton, but before his numbers were good, not immensely. Even Cotto had similar PPV buys. Pac needs known names to do over a million even at this stage. The Cowboy stadium had a great marketing for this fight and Manny was everywhere, lets see if it could even do 800,000.

I don't know what an annoying Floyd disciple is. I know it can't be worse than an annoying Pacquiao disciple. Marquez never sold anything in this country before so why would that start now?

What's wrong with Clottey's English apart from the fact he has an accent?

Pac needs decent marketable names to draw, even DLH struggled to reach over a mil with the non super fights.

    DLH-Whitaker did 720k.
    DLH-Chavez 2 did 525k
    DLH-Mosley 1 did 600k
    DLH-Mosley 2 did 925k
    DLH-Vargas did 930k
    DLH-Mayorga did 925k

He has only ever broken the 1mil barrier 3 times, against Tito, PBF & Pac.

Also when did Tito ever break 1mil except for his fight with Oscar? Tito-Hopkins did under 500k, his biggest fight outside Oscar.
