Arum did his share of bad. But people blaming him for everything is just hating. HBO is still the face. They should not gave a deal to one promoter. But buy the best posible fight.

Too many belts. Promoters not developing fighters. PPV. Feeding us fighters rather then leting fans decide. Protecting boxers record with bad decision. Is whats killing the sport.

Yes -- Bob Arum is the face of boxing. Unfortunately he is also the anti-christ.

Bob Arum is one of the few promoters left who knew how to promote. he builds fighters, match them up, guide them until they're ready for big fights, and most importantly, he builds them a fan base. other promoters only know how to get TV dates and site fees. Compare his latin fury promotions and how big were the crowds he draw to that of the Alexander-Bradley fight at the silverdome

and bob arum is being blamed for failing to make the pac-floyd fight. ironically, those who blame him are floyd fans, fans of the fighter who is now out of sight, in vacation and lacking the urge to fight

Floyd avoided a lot of other welterweight contenders. Baldomir beating Zab was hugely in part to Zab's propensity for falling the **** apart mentally.
