This actually couldn't have worked out better for the old snake Bob Arum.. By pushing the mayweather fight back he will make out better.. First off now he takes his hot fighter to cowboy stadium to fight Clottey. He keeps all the money Jerry Jones ponies up for the fight instead of splitting it in half with golden boy. He keeps the fight in house and takes a cut of both fighters purses and essentially walks away with millions. Then He moves on to Mayweather (maybe) or takes another fight even before that to cash in on another huge payday. Doing all this because he knows damn well Mayweather will most likely defeat Paquiao and go on to become the best fighter in the world today. Therefore he can prolonge this mega fight and paquiao's loss, hence delaying his dropoff, for a couple more fights and make mega millions. This is pretty obvious why he would wanna do this, I kinda think everyone would if it means just making more millions of dollars before you put your sacrificial lamb out there to be defeated and then its a wrap!!

    Yes only Arum wins.

Arum won't let Clottey win unless it is a KO. Look at what happened with Cotto.

It definitely looks like Arum wanted Jones money. Now he gets another big payday while setting up the HUGE payday. Either way a fight vs. Clottey and then Mosley to unify the titles will make Arum about as much as the PBF fight, so he is guanteed millions either way.

I doubt Arum is getting anywhere near as much money for Pac-Clottey. Probably a pretty small site fee actually. I think it's more of a test run than anything to see if he can host a true megafight there in the future.

Only a mild one compared to the massive one that he would have after Floyd beat Pac. It would be made better because he would still have Clottey the man that would have beatten Pac.

Thats how yer make money & stay at the top & yer job is made all that much easier when you are dealing with an insecure juvenile such as Mayweather & the new greenhorns on the block GBP who've been made to look the flash amatuer's that they are:lol: as the old saying goes:

"Age & Treachery" will always overcome youth, brawn & skill:deal
