He has Beterbiev - and the whole Russian/Caucus/Muslim PPV money - if he markets him properly.

He won't market them, he or ESPN are only interested in promoting Americans.

Taylor isn't a name even in Scotland; we've had threads in here about that issue and the locals
agree no one knows him in haggis country. His next fight is a mano in Edinborough so maybe
his profile will be raised a bit at that time.

Too bad Jeff Fenech, his trainer, wasn't in NYC last night. But I assume he had a few brews yesterday.

He has Tyson Fury, who makes $30+ million a fight. He's worth 30 Bud Crawfords.

Plus Taylor has not as yet drawn a big gate or PPV number. So this will be interesting

Tyson Fury sells himself. It's not Top Rank's marketing efforts that have got him this far.

Crawford was never a major draw though and doesn’t come off as an easy guy to do business with.

If anything Arum overpaid him, since Crawford literally put zero effort in helping promoting himself and his fights. Also, from what I’m hearing the Crawford-Porter event didn’t even break even, but Crawford still cleared a $6 million purse, so Arum wasn’t hurting Crawford’s wallet.

That said now that Crawford is a free agent we’ll see want he can secure for himself. If he can secure the Spence fight that’ll be great, but I doubt things will be so simple.

Marcus Browne has a chance and has good skills.

I expect Beterbiev to sleep him though.
