“He’ll [Pacquiao] stay at welterweight unless [Sergio] Martinez wants to fight at 150 maybe. I’m sure they could work out something with a catchweight.” -Freddie Roach

"I am willing to go down to 150 pounds to face Manny Pacquiao. It does not depend only on me. We will see what happens, if his team and [Top Rank CEO] Bob Arum accept [the fight]. Because it's one thing is to fight Antonio Margarito at 150, and another thing to face me at 150. ... He always said 150, and I respect his position, because he is a little fighter even at 150. But it's going to play to his advantage because I'll be almost ten kilos lighter in my body." -Sergio Martinez

I'm afraid Loma deserves less credit today than he would've received a couple years ago if he were to win. They're competitive from a skill level but Loma is bigger. I'd prefer they don't fight but it's whatever if it does.

So we agree that you can't duck a fight from a higher division?

Lol! Man... what's the use?! THEY still can't comprehend that. Rigoblin could walk to the ring, **** himself during the instructions, then say "No mas" and leave before the opening bell and they STILL would deny that he ducked Vasyl.

No they would just say he didn't even try, like they now say about the Walters domination. It's not what Vasyl did to make Walters look like he wasn't trying and ultimately lead to him quitting, No No. It was Walters just decided to not even bother trying, and give up his 0 via No Mas on prime time HBO. This double standard **** is beyond ****ing old.

They reach and grasp :) It's fun to watch. They'll amp it up even more after Loma clips Rigoblin the **** out and I'll laugh even harder :D

Or they'll say Salido was "Over the hill" or "Way past his best" after Loma dominates him in the rematch.

If a guy of his talent can't even get picked up by a network, something is wrong. He's (purposely?) pricing himself out, and if you want to blame others, that's fine.

If a guy takes out the top guy in the division and then fights just 6 times over the next 4.5 years (despite no notable injury) against nobody of importance, you have to wonder what is going on.

Loma is in the soul collecting business.
