A glass eye is certainly harder/stronger than a normal eye. What's the problem with his statement?

 

For what it is worth, in april 2006, I was in an accident that shattered by left orbital bone and parts of the front of my skull. I of course had to undergo surgery to repair it. I now have a titanium plate for a cheek bone/orbital bone and a plastic eye socket. Maybe it could be considered stronger?
