Bottom line is this...they ducked a competative fight at 140 with JMM for a non competative fight with shot shane who may aswel be coming off 2 losses.

mosley is shot, everyone knew that. but a fight at 140 will not happen since pac is not going down anymore. and even if pac will go down, jmm at 140 is not proven at the weight. so there is no guarantee that this would be competitive as their fight at 126 and at 130.

 

Doubt it. Arum wants the PBF and he will make it happen but not until Pac is ready to call it a day or looks bad. Then he will make it. Until then he needs to keep Pac winning and we all know JMM is a very dangerous fight for him along with Berto because of his youth speed and power. Mosley is the sure thing.

Its an investment is what really Mosley is.

Does it surprise you that Pac since the PBF talks started happening has only fought guys controlled by Arum? First Clottey, Margarito and now Mosley.

Why didnt they fight Mosley when he was looking like a beast and Mosley went to the Wildcard gym to call out Pac. He even said he would go down to 142 and they said no he is dangerous. Now he had 2 bad performances and TR sign him to make the fight??

People can say all they want about GBP but at least they tried to make a better fight. They knew MOsley was shot and wouldnt make a good fight so thats why they wanted to pit JMM against him instead. I mean they controlled both fighters so they could have made either fight.

 

arum is ready for a floyd fight for pac but floyd has been very busy recently with his extra-curricullar activities and holidays. arum let pac-cotto happen even if he knew that it was his top2 best fighters in his stable. not fighting mosley but instead fighting cotto is not a big deal since we knew that both are of almost same caliber. if you look at hindsight, cotto has more left in the tank at the time when pac fought him than mosley.

 

Mosely is guaranteed $5m plus ppv profits. Marquez asked for $5m and it was deemed too much. That is a fact. How this guy can defend Pac in this situation is beyond me.

 

calm down. i read the article and obviously arum is trying to wash his hands on this by saying it was pac. but the thing is, arum would get more from mosley offering the same $5M guaranteed purse than offering it to JMM. so why does your thread still having a misleading title?

it wasn't. but if arum was really offering mosley the same guaranteed purse like what he gave to margarito, the $5M guaranteed purse is a little to big for JMM.

so can you answer why you still won't change your title trying to mislead people into thinking that arum is paying mosley a $7M guaranteed purse?

 

No he is not ready for it. It has been very well documented that Arum is the one who has been lying throughout the whole negotiations. He is the one that ruined it the first time around. Also PAcs team keeps contradicting themselves all the time with the drug testing so if they as a team cant keep it together its hard to blame PBF who has been very vocal about it all and even a mediator who is impartial backed up his side of the story.

 

i'm just coming out and saying it. marquez is a way bigger draw than mosley, arum is just plain bullshitting us to try and excuse a blatant cherry pick.
