Right on the button, if Manny chooses Berto, critics would say he was fighting a non afro/american and continous to avoid black/american slick fighters. If he fights Marquez, haters would say he's fighting a lightweight and not a true welter or a proven jr. middleweight.. Lets just be happy that Pac is consistent in fighting every year and continous to give boxing entertainment.

Mosley's last PPV vs Mora, did 100K PPV sales.

Marquez last PPV vs Juan Diaz, doubled that, 200K in sales.

Neither Mora of Diaz are recognizeable names to the casual fan, but it goes to show you that Marquez fanbase is double that of Mosley's.

    Exactly!

Which is why this is going to turn up Roses for Mayweather.
Pacquiao-Mosley will do well under 1 million, I'm certain of it......thats when Mayweather will pounce at the opportunity and say, "lets do it, 60/40 split in my favor and I'm being generous. My fight with Mosley doubled the PPV buys of Pacquiao's fight with Mosley. All roads lead through Mayweather Jr."

Also Saul Canelo Alvarez was one of the main reason people bought the Mosely Fight... Come on now, Mosely wearing Mexican trunks that night... He knew who his target audience was.

I agree with the TS...Mosley at this point, is the harder sell given the circumstances....It's a no brainer to see that Pacquiao-Marquez 3 is a more credible match-up to the public...

Thats a huge part of it.........the other part of it is that the whole Pacquiao team knows that Marquez is all wrong for Pacquiao.
Coming off the two Morales demolitions, the Pac team were of the thinking they'd do the same to Marquez, but what proceeded was this........

I have zero doubt they're leary of it happening again.

......yep, you might be right. Why should Pacquiao set a man up for retirement who beat the snot out of him twice......

Perfectly understandable why he would'nt want that to happen!:yep

I have no sympathy for Marquez. It's not like Marquez was robbed or anything in those fights. They were legitimately close. If Marquez wants to beat Pacquiao, he has to learn to stay upright, lol.

And if he can't stay upright against Katsidis or even MAYWEATHER....
