Hey I agree its Arum ... he knows that Floyd has skill and can do the damn thing. He said on record that Floyd was the most talented fight of all his years in boxing ... the closest to that would be Ali --

I think Arum will get as much as he can get out of Cotto before building a fight between PBF.

 

Cotto just need to get the confidence of Arum, It's not like Arum is scared, He is sometimes a wise man. He knows when to fight and whom to fight.

Cotto chases Floyd, builds a name...Floyd stays where he is....showdown in a year or two.

My thought Pacquiao is more valuable at the moment for Arum, He just got tons of cash on Pacquiao fights.

 

I can't see this happening now because there is no way that Mayweather and Arum will do business togeather at this stage.

There is talk of money being owned and court case so that is pretty much out of the question going forward which is not god ffor the fans.

 

I said this a while ago, Arum is holding back Cotto from Mayweather. I believe Cotto want to fight, but Arum is afraid of him losing.

Arum cant be 100% sure that Cotto would stay undefeated by fighting Margarito, and if Cotto were to lose, why not lose to the p4pchamp, and later say he ran or try and put Floyd down by saying he didnt give the fans the fight they wanted and boxed,etc... get the point? I dont think Arum, or anyone in Team Cotto is, or should be afraid of a fight with Foyd, after all, other tha DLH, Money May is the one that will bring the big money to Cotto and Arum, so the ball is on Floyd's turf>Arum has already said on another site why he hasnt made Floyd an offer, and it is because 1-Floyd has other fights planned for the rest of the year, and 2-he has also dismissed all questions about fighting Cotto, where as with Margarito it was Arum's first time trying to lure in Floyd to fight his fighter for a lot of money, which he later admitted it didnt work which is why hasnt tried it with Cotto
