Wow trollmaster....I wasn't even talking about Bob/Pac/Floyd there. The post you quoted was talking about the benefits of a permanent stadium in Vegas.

Doesn't matter, you've been touting the temp stadium this whole thread.

As much as I like the MGM, a stadium would still be better; temporary or not.

Not at the expense of costing this fight.

Context and comprehension seems to be lacking on you. Stadium talk was just in the details. The gist of my argument here is if Pac is available late May, than Floyd should fight him late May instead of May 5th behind the logic that the judge, in all likelihood, would grant that change of fight date under the pretext of the city benefiting economically therefore reasoning that specific fight dates are arbitrary. Do you understand?.....of course not, coz you're a trollin' lil byatch who has nothing to contribute.

Which is what I said earlier. In my opinion, Arum is babbling excuses. Still, Floyd should call his bluff. I'd like to see it in a stadium instead of MGM if it's possible. If not, there's nothing wrong with MGM.

    Awww, you ok boo boo?

The time delay is directly connected to the temporary stadium. You do know that, right?

Here's a quote for you to digest:

So, if no stadium, no undo delay. Is that clear enough for you? No? Well maybe you believe the cut won't heal till June. :rofl

So Arum pay the site fee to the city. Thats a loss of money for him. When you have it in a casino the CASINO pays a fee to the promoters. Building a stadium wont get you payed a site fee because either you payed for it yourself or a company built it for you. If they built it for you you can bet you wont be getting any gate money and if you do its a very small percentage. A stadium makes no sense. There is a reason they dont have one in Vegas.

Only money casino monopolizes is the money they make from people that go to the casino, half of which probably wouldnt be there if not for the fight, hence the site fee. The site fee would be huge for this fight.

Arum wants to build it. Floyd would not contribute to that nonsense in anyway. Let's say sponsors do build it. What Options is Arum going to give up on the fight to the sponsors. Remember this is Bob we're talking about here. The same Bob that didnt want to make DLH-PBF because "i would be working for a small percentage".

The problem is he said pac would be ready may 5th if pac was fighting jmm. Now all of a sudden wont be ready to fight floyd because of his cut and because he wants to build a stadium.

The reason there's no stadium in Vegas is that there's no consistent financial stream to maintain one. But as mentioned Vegas happens to monopolize the fight game...so there ya go, a viable financial stream. This really has nothing to do with specific promoters or fighters. It boils down to simple trickle down economics. What would you rather have...16,000 people descending to Vegas, or 40,000? And besides, who said Arum has to pay the site fee. Whatever system is in place doesn't have to change...only the venue. Corporate sponsorships man, i.e the major Casinos will pay the site fees....you know the places where those 40,000 drunken fight fans would have to stay. I'm not gonna profess I'm an expert in Casino's finances but I'm guessing when there's a big fight there's some sort of fight ticket/room casino package. For example, lets say MGM and Mandalay cosponsors the fight, this means they get first dibs on ticket/room promos, meaning their rooms being filled. In other words, same system just a bigger venue and more people, meaning more money trickling down from the casinos down to the hookers at the strip.

Like i said either Arum pays the site fee or some company pays it for him and they get options on the fight. That's the only options.

They lose money doing this. There is a reason DLH-PBF didn take place in a stadium.

Also there will be no package given by the casinos unless they hold the fight there. And if the casino does give them a package they will ask for options on the fight.

The stadium option loses money unless a company or hotel is dumb enough to pay without getting something in return. They pay, you give up.

I might as well talk to a brick wall. So you post a quote that has Arum saying the end of May is a possibility and you think you've disproved my point? That's the premise of my whole argument dip****. Here reread this:

"The gist of my argument here is if Pac is available late May, than Floyd should fight him late May instead of May 5th behind the logic that the judge, in all likelihood, would grant that change of fight date under the pretext of the city benefiting economically therefore reasoning that specific fight dates are arbitrary."

what a **** excuse, this isn't 1918, this isn't a dempsey fight.....mgm is obviously the venue since arum and pac themselves agreed upon it in the 1st negotiations
