Both sides are stubborn and greedy. Floyd and Pac are both superstars so 65-35 is an insult to either one. They should try to get it close to 50-50, but it ain't gonna happen. Pac is #1 currently and Mayweather is trying to reclaim it so it makes sense that he should get slightly less than Pac. Pac also doesn't even have to fight Floyd since he is not even the same division.

He fights the Mosleys and Cottos of the world and he gets ****ed up. Thats why he should fight Floyd, its the only welterweight he has a chance of beating because of the size differential.

Unless you want Pac with Mosleys glove imprinted perminently in his cranium.

Meanwhile Mayweather would beat Mosley and Cotto and nobody will remember Pacquiao outside Asia.

But he had no problem giving Hatton 50%. Since its **** who's the bigger draw like you say. How do you explain that one?

325K was great for fighting Gatti. Much better then Pac ever did fighting Barrera, Morales or his 125K against Diaz. Floyd did that fighitng 11 loss Baldomir.

For me, Hatton didn't deserve 50%. not even close. I thought Hatton was lucky to get 50% against Pac and the fight showed he really wasn't worth it.

Don't get me wrong i wanna see Pac vs PBF and will be happy if it happens regardless of the split. But i'll be just as happy if Pac fights Mosley than if he fights Floyd, maybe even more. If Pac can go get that WW title for me that would be the best.

Pac vs Mosley at 147 for me thats the best fight.

Pac did alot more than 325K fighting Barrera though even though Gatti has always been considered a huge draw.

He didnt desevre 50% imo either, i thought Pac was right for asking for 60%. Fact still remains he gave Hatton 50-50, so there is no way in hell Floyd is getting less than that.

Let your pretty boy defeat JMM first before you discuss his purse split against pacquiao.

One could argue that Tito or Ruiz was not the difference in the number of sales but Roy. Roy was undefeated and challenging for the heavyweight championship which had no been done Since Bob Fitzsimmon in 1897. When Roy fought Tito he had been KO'd twice and clearly at the end of his career. Same goes for Tyson. Versus Botha Tyson was returning to the ring, the public had high expectations that he would be returning to his previous form. By the time he fought Williams, Tyson was a shell of him former self and everyone knew it.

Bob Arum is not an Idiot. He just hates Floyd. He is on a mission to find a fighter to beat Floyd and if he can screw him out of some money and **** him on a rematch then all the better.

With all the crap Arum is spewing ....

#1 - What HARD EVIDENCE do we have that Manny is the attraction {HARD EVIDENCE} ????? NO SPECULATION, NO CONJECTURE, HARD EVIDENCE. :nono

#2 - What were the PPV numbers for Manny vs Hatton {Release those numbers and PROVE what is being stated by Arum}.

#3 - Manny vs DLH and Hatton were his biggest purses to date. So if Manny was as big an attraction and star as Arums states ... Why did it take until those fights for him to MAKE good money ?????

If I were Floyd I would burn Arum good and act like I'm going to negotiate to fight Manny after JMM .... And totally go in another direction at the last minute. Fight someone else and make Manny prove that he's the draw!

pac's fights w/ both dlh and hatton happened in a bad economy (recession).

why this debate about purse splits among ourselves?! we won't get any cent of it anyways. we just want this fight to happen. if it doesn't due to purse issues, then shame on them since the money they're arguing about is actually coming from us (boxing fans) in the first place.

Because both Arum & The Roach have been on a constant PR mission trying to gain an edge in any potential negotiations with Mayweather.

let's see how floyd does vs. marquez first and the numbers for that fight. initial reports say that ticket sales for the fight are going slow. not a good sign.
