    This story is yet another example of copy and paste news. It used to be a minimum standard in journalism to verify a story. Now its just who gets the **** out ASAP, at the expense of accuracy, verification and originality.

    Referenced isn't good enough. If you're going to run with a story -- and do so with a bold, certain headline -- you have to get confirmation. That's Journalism 101. I never saw the PhilBoxing piece, but I saw the Fight H_ype piece headline, in big and bold letters.

    Here's the original FH headline:

    MICHAEL KONCZ FIRED BY MANNY PACQUIAO

    Here's what it was apparently changed to:

    MICHAEL KONCZ FIRED BY MANNY PACQUIAO?

    Not good. Unless one is looking to attain Tim Smith-Fake Pacquiao Email "credibility."

    Tim Smith had to seemingly suck up to Team Pac after his mistake to get back into Team Pac's good graces.

    If Fight H_pe continues to make these kinds of mistakes, they are likely to be either laughed at/ignored or be regarded as a kind of boxing tabloid.

    Not where one wants to be if you want to be taken seriously.

    Knocz is not fired, he has a career alternative enhancement or
    managed down to gopher or made internaly effecent.
    He was not down sized he was rightsized. Over at team pacquio they had a skill-mix adjustment.
    Big changes going on over in pac's camp they just need to seal the leaks so they don't have to use all these pretty words to explain what is happening.
