I disagree with you're projections. PBF vs Cotto will sell somewhere around 1.5 Mil buys NEXT MONTH. Everyone knows these two and they are the TOP 2 WW's in the world.

I also feel Floyd is Cherry picker extrordinaire and REFUSE to criticize Arum's/Cotto's actions when Floyd's talking a YEAR OFF and has mentioned retirement. The first thing out of his mouth post Hatton was "I've always said I wont let the sport retire me, I'll retire from the sport".

Yet? we've heard that BS before. fFoyd's EGO is far too fragile to handle retirement at this point. So I dont buy it and dont believe that's a valid arguing point yet.

    Makes sense.

Talking about a guy who doesn't want to fight is a waste of saliva.

    :yep :D

From the perspective of seeing Floyds own Doctor say his body is breaking down he'll have to retire soon if he keeps it up. Thus resulting in Floyd wanting to rest. If you believe it would do 1.5 million now, imagine what it would do if Cotto was hyped even more, like beating DLH/Williams/ even a Mayorga.

I havent criticized why the year off(though I dont buy that ****). My point is that Cotto has nothing to be WAITING ON.

My only concern is that the fight happens, even if its a year from now. However, A year off isnt what Cotto needs, so they gotta fight someone else, and its unfair to criticize them for such action.

Well I dont feel Cotto has fought a live WW yet. Thats why fighting Gomez to me is just ****. I'd to see him vs Williams/Cintron.

C'mon man, Quintana and SSM are live WW's. To the point that Williams is fighting CQ on feb 2.

    Yes, I agree Gomez is/would be a **** fight.

Quitana is an older inexperienced fighter. A warm up fight for Cotto at 147 nothing more.

Shane was a good win for Cotto but Shane is old and Cotto didn't exactly look great in it either. That's why fighting Williams/Cintron would be good. In their prime fighters who are active.

There is no one available at WW for Cotto that would be a better win than his win over Shane.

CQ is 31 and was would have been an Olympian if he wasnt injured two days before the team plane left. He is a very slick and skilled guy something that will show against PW.

SSM was a better fight than DLH:yep

IMO, PBF, Cotto, and the winner of Williams vs Quintana are the TOP 3 WW's in the world. Yes, I agree that we should see all those guys square off.

Cintron is a joke who's been exposed twice already and is more of an afterthought.

I just dont whats special about Quitana, if he beats Paul Williams then Ill give him and Cotto more credit for sure but until then I dont see him as anything special.

Floyd-DLH took place at 154. Im merely talking 147. :good

So now PW would be a bigger win than Shane???

Dont get me wrong PW is a nightmare, but clearly not bigger than Shane at this point.

Shane is a bigger win in the sense that people know who he is and he's a bigger name. Williams would beat Mosley if they fought right now. Far too active.

Bigger then Shane how? Star wise?

Paul Williams in his prime and beat the hype job Margo.

Shane was old and far from him best and Cotto struggled.

A Paul Williams win now is better then when Cotto beat Shane.

Point being if DLH is a live opponent? So is SSM:yep

Watch Williams vs Quintana, you'll see how skilled he is. This fight sucks for me because I like both men. In reality, I'd almost rather see PW win because if CQ wins, there's no way in hell Floyd will fight him.

Then again? WTF am i saying Floyd wont fight PW either. Give Williams credit, he's fighting the guy's very few wanna fight like marg/CQ.
