Bob Arum offers Chris Algieri the Pacquiao fight!

No one says Mayweather fights just like Alexander, but he is a much more talented fighter. As far as the Algieri/Provo fight, I'm going by what the ringside observers and most fans said. Every person can have their own opinion, but the general consensus holds a lot of weight.

 

Provodnikov beat Algieri, good thing that Algieri had two of his personal judges in his home turf to cheat.......................Pac will knock Algieri out............it's a mismatch..............

 

but i thought algieri boxed provodnikovs ears off with one eye? now that it looks like hes going to fight pacquiao, hes a bum? marquez and sinclair dont want it and who knows what the **** is going to happen with gbp/haymon/shaefer so this is probably the best alternative.

 

pac's legacy is set in stone: fotd, 8div champ, 4 lineal, longest p4p ranked in history.

as soon as he won the dela hoya fight, everything from there onwards were money fights.

his wins in multiple weight divisions, including against top 3 p4p bradley in ww division, were all nice bonus for a storied career.


thefjr on the other hand, has no legacy to speak off. best win is trex carralez.

he avoided a prime pac, now he needs to beat pac and ggg to save whatever legacy he has.

How do you know Khan hasn't sent a serious response? There's a thing called PRIVACY. Not everything has to be negotiated in the media.

 

Algieri isn't a bum, he's a "solid" opponent, but he hasn't done anything except scrape by Provo, and yes, Algieri won that fight.

 

An easier and safe match up for Pac indeed. Khan and Broner has both challenged Pac. I'm pushing it here, but maybe this is a safe fight for him to perhaps fight Mayweather in May? Mayweather said his next opponent is going to be a surprise. Wishful thinking maybe :bbb

 

I'd have rather seen Algieri-Garcia first.
