I'd have no issues at all with JML taking Cabellero 1st and Gamboa getting john and then if they both win their fight get it on late 2010 early 2011

 

sucks. but it surely is bad to match these two fighters this early.

I don't get why Arum put it that way. I think "the fans can wait" would be more appropriate than "**** themselves", but it is the right decision. As long as they keep fighting elite fighters, then I'm all for it. Same as Haye/Klitschko, it made sense for Haye to beat Valuev and hopefully the rest of the pretenders can be beaten, setting up an even bigger fight.

I think it'll be worth the wait.

Well Bob you can watch those other fights if you want, but I aint paying for it.

 

In other words, Bob wants to season Lopez at featherweight more considering how monstrous Gamboa looked recently. Remember that before last night's card he was talking about matching them up in the fall.

 

Arum has repeatedly shown a lot of disrespect for the fans and the sport itself. First with his approval of CHEATERS like pacquiao and Margarito, and now the way he talks to the fans, the very same ppl that have made him so filthy rich... That is a very disgusting piece of scum.

 

I was pleasantly surprised when it seemed these two would be fighting this year. How often do you get two young, undefeated fighters meeting in this stage of their career? Not nearly enough, which is a shame. Guess I should have known better.

However, if Arum really plans on building this into a mega-fight by letting these guys clear out the division first, I don't really have a problem with it.

If they're going to fight John, Caballero, Rafa etc before fighting each other, that's fine by me.

 

It's "maricon".... and yeah, I highly doubt myself that Juanma would take a fight with Gamboa @ the moment, specially with the disgraceful ducking he did to Caballero, he'll definitely be avoiding Gamboa like the bubonic plague.... ANyways, Juanma knows himself best and he probably realizes there's little to no chance he beats either of this top tier guys... Gamboa woul dispose of him in less than you can get up to get ur second beer, IMO.

Sounds like a good idea. Although after seeing Gamboa for the first time I was VERY impressed. If they fough tomorrow, Lopez wouldn't last 7 rounds with Gamboa.

 

Arum milking his cash cows until he can't get anything else isn't new.

 

Then I hope Bob makes Juanma fight Caballero.
